Most people drink at least a cup of coffee every morning or through the day to keep them alert and awake with little thought about how much caffeine they are actually consuming. Caffeine can cause a short, but dramatic increase in your blood pressure. Some people who regularly drink caffeinated beverages have a higher average blood pressure than those who drink none.
