Believe it or not, your outlook on life has an effect on your quality of life.  If you do not believe it, or have other tendencies of cynicism, studies are showing you may be at an increased risk for dementia.  In a Finnish study of 1,449 adults, results showed individuals who portrayed qualities of cynical mistrust were three times more likely to develop dementia than their more optimistic cohort.
