SUMMARY:4th Annual Women’s Cardiovascular Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, October 3\, 2025\nThe Summit Hotel\n5345 Medpace Way | Cincinnati\, OH 45227\nWith cardiovascular disease remaining the leading cause of death for women in the United States\, morbidity and mortality rates continue to rise despite medical advances and public health awareness campaigns. Persistent knowledge gaps in sex-specific risk factors and differences in clinical presentation often lead to delayed care. Even when women seek medical attention\, they are frequently misdiagnosed or undertreated. \nCLICK TO REGISTER \nTo address these alarming disparities\, The Women’s Heart Center at The Christ Hospital established the Women’s Cardiovascular Symposium\, offering continuing medical education for physicians and healthcare professionals managing cardiovascular disease (CVD) in women. This symposium focuses on advancing sex-specific risk assessments and evidence-based strategies to improve clinical outcomes and bridge the care gap for women with or at risk of CVD. As the only educational program in the Midwest focused on sex- and gender-specific cardiovascular differences\, it remains an essential resource for healthcare providers. \nThis year\, we are proud and excited to collaborate with Mass General Brigham\, further expanding the symposium’s impact and reinforcing our mission to transform women’s heart health. On behalf of The Christ Hospital and Mass General Brigham\, we invite you to join us for the 4th Annual Women’s Cardiovascular Symposium\, held on Friday\, October 3\, 2025\, in beautiful Cincinnati\, Ohio. We look forward to seeing you there! \nLearning Objectives: This symposium is designed to equip attendees with the ability to: \n\nApply best practices to elevate and manage cardiovascular diseases more prominent in women.\nArticulate the need for a multidisciplinary approach in the cardiovascular management of women.\nRecognize the importance of social determinants of health in the overall care of a patient.\nAssess medical and/or surgical treatment options for patients with heart failure.\nAccurately evaluate women presenting with chest pain.\nEvaluate challenges women face regarding management of weight\, lipids\, diabetes\, and menopause.\n\nInquiries\nSymposium inquiries can be directed to The Women’s Heart Center at WHC@TheChristHospital.com. \nCLICK TO REGISTER
