Volunteers Needed for Health Expo on April 25

The Center for Closing the Health Gap seeks volunteers to help with our 2026 Health Expo on April 25 at Washington Park.

Qualifications: Approachable and inviting presence. Strength to stand on your feet for 2-3 hours. Willingness to share stories about your health journey and connection with Health Gap. Humility to defer tough questions to Health Gap staff and on-site medical professionals.

Benefits: Event t-shirt and meal ticket will be provided for 4 hours of volunteer time.

Logistics: There will be 3 volunteer shifts: 8:30am-12pm, 12-2pm and 2-5pm. Training will be provided in advance. While we cannot predict the weather, we know that April tends to be wet, and living in Cincinnati means being prepared for multiple seasons in a single day. Also, there will be a crowd. We ask that you consider carpooling, being dropped off, or using public transportation.
