Eat Right! Move Right! Live Right!

The Do Right! Wellness Series are free hands-on workshops that focus on prevention to help you eat right, move right, and live right. The purpose of each of our series is to provide you with the knowledge, tools, and resources to begin to take charge of your own health. We are here to help you so that you do not have to do it alone, to be a resource, a guide, and a support system.

Current Wellness Series Offerings

The wellness series are for anyone who is looking to improve their health. Community members will have the opportunity to engage with others as they learn key strategies for improving their health and wellness. Sessions are generally offered once per season: winter, spring, summer and fall.

  • Do Right! Nutrition Train the Trainer – Eight-week series that focuses on building knowledge of nutrition and preparing participants to teach others about nutrition.
  • Do Right! Relax and Restore – Six-week series focusing on stress and arming participants with strategies to manage and reduce stress.
  • Do Right! Healthy Steps – Eight-week series that focuses on the prevention and management of pre-diabetes and diabetes through nutrition, exercise, and stress management.

  • Understand the basics of health, nutrition, fitness and chronic conditions
  • Learn how to manage a chronic condition
  • Gain the confidence to create a healthy lifestyle
